My Signature Story

Professional Expertise
With over a decade of experience in event management, I bring a blend of professionalism, creativity, and dedication to every project. As an event production specialist, my background spans project management, marketing, and communication, all of which enhance my ability to craft exceptional events.
In addition to my role as an independent event manager, I’ve shared my passion through teaching at a private college in the Netherlands and an online school in Germany. This experience enriches my work, allowing me to coach clients and speakers in presentation, public speaking, and networking skills, while also fueling my own commitment to lifelong learning.

I work across a broad range of industries including medical, tech, banking, law, politics, hospitality, and the arts. I serve a diverse clientele from C-suite executives to educational institutions and non-profits. And I collaborate with agencies and project manager for their clients’ events. My expertise includes organizing both internal company events and producing external events or experiences for clients, prospects, or sponsors.
Each project offers a new adventure, from transforming spaces and arranging themed tours to creating gamified experiences and organizing unique retreats. I excel in leading and collaborating with diverse project teams, turning ambitious visions into reality. Effective teamwork is key to achieving grand results!

From the Netherlands to various European destinations and now Seattle, my personal and professional journeys have broadened my perspective and enriched my event management approach. With each change of environment, I’ve gained fresh perspectives that enrich my personal life as well as my work as event manager.
Traveling, trying new and exciting things, and exploring diverse cultures are my passions. They deeply influence my work, ensuring each event reflects a unique, global perspective and offers unforgettable experiences. Fluent in Dutch and English, with proficiency in Portuguese and knowledge of other European languages, I connect effortlessly with diverse audiences and bring a wealth of experience to every project.

I’m from the Netherlands, and my husband, Josh, is American. We complement each other: Dutch directness meets Minnesota nice. He keeps me grounded and I keep him on his toes!
I’m an explorer at heart, with the goal of visiting as many US states as I have European countries: 20+ and counting! My top travel tip? Guided walking tours are always the best way to explore and meet new people.
Some years ago, I started reconnecting with my Portuguese heritage through language lessons. It’s been a rewarding yet challenging experience, but I believe that all good things are worth the time and dedication. I love the outdoors, especially along the coast—sunshine and salty air always lift my spirits! And I can’t resist a good cup of joe!
